What is settled when you agree the fare

A published figure is only worth having if the things that usually move a fare are settled with it. These are, and they are settled at the enquiry rather than at the end of the trip.

The hour you travel does not move it

A four in the morning departure for an early flight and a midday run are the same fare. Nothing is added for the time of day, for a weekend or for a festival week.

The traffic and the route do not move it

Whether the driver takes the expressway or comes round, and whether the road is clear or standing still, the figure is the one you agreed. That risk is ours and it is the point of buying a fixed fare.

What is extra is named before you confirm

Toll, parking, waiting beyond the free period at the pick-up address, and GST. The same four that go on every booking this company takes, each on the quotation with a figure against it.

What the fare covers

In the quoted fare

Fuel and running cost: Whatever the trip burns.
The chauffeur: His driving charges for the duty.
Maintenance, insurance and air conditioning: The vehicle is insured and serviced, and the AC runs.
The figure, before the car leaves: The fare for your class is published, so it is agreed at the enquiry rather than worked out at the far end. Nothing about the fare changes because of traffic, the hour or the route the driver takes.
The empty run back: The car has to get home whether you are in it or not. That is ours to carry and it is not on your bill.
A drop at the address: The figure covers the run to where you asked to be dropped, whether that is a terminal kerb, a hotel porch or a gate inside a colony, rather than to the edge of the city.

Parking: At actuals, with the receipt.
Waiting beyond the free period: Charged by the hour once the free waiting is used up.

Is the fare really fixed, or does it change on the day?

It is fixed. The figure for your class is published, it is what the quotation carries, and it is what you pay. Traffic, the hour and the route the driver takes do not move it. Toll and parking are separate and are charged at what they actually cost.

Does the fare cover the airport, or only the city?

The airport. The figure is built to reach Terminal 3, which is the far end of Delhi from this side, so a drop anywhere nearer is covered by the same fare rather than costing less. Tell us the terminal or the address in the enquiry and the driver is briefed.

What about Delhi to Panipat?

That is quoted rather than published. It is the same road and a different job: this figure exists because the car is repositioning to Delhi, and a run in the other direction is not doing that. Ask and you will have a number the same day.

Can I get this fare for a tempo traveller or a coach?

Those are quoted. The published figures cover the car classes on this page, and putting a number against a twenty-seven seater on this route would mean inventing one rather than reading it off a rate that exists. Tell us how many are travelling and we will price it properly.

What is on the bill besides the fare?

Toll and parking at actuals, with the receipts and the FASTag statement, and GST as its own line. Both appear on the quotation with a figure against them before you agree to anything.

When do I find out who is driving?

The evening before, by 9 pm, with his name and his number. That is the whole of the pre-trip promise and it does not change because the fare is a fixed one.
